Will a 3 seater sofa fit in my Gurgaon apartment lift?

It depends on your lift, so measure first: the lift door width, the inside depth and height, and the diagonal. Send us these sizes and we will tell you whether a standard size fits or a custom size is better.

Can you make a sofa smaller so it fits the lift?

Yes. Every sofa model we make can be custom-sized, so the length, depth or height can be adjusted to suit your lift, doors and room. A custom sofa usually takes about 7 working days to make.

Do you deliver sofas to Gurgaon?

Yes. All products are 30% off with free delivery across India, including Gurgaon. Ask us about the delivery time for your address when you order.

What should I check with my society before delivery?

Ask the society office whether furniture deliveries need a booking, which lift to use, permitted delivery hours, and whether a gate pass or entry note is needed. Rules differ between societies.

Where can I see your sofas before ordering?

At our showroom, Gate No. 4, Shastri Park, Shahdara, Delhi 110053, open 10 AM to 8 PM, all 7 days. You can also WhatsApp +91-7838834141 with your measurements.

Buying a sofa for a Gurgaon high-rise is not only about style. The sofa has to pass through the tower lobby, fit inside the lift, turn into your corridor and get through the flat door. The simple rule is to measure first. At Golden Paradise Furniture & Interiors every sofa model we make can be custom-sized, so if the standard size will not fit your lift, we can make one that does, usually in about 7 working days. All products are 30% off with free delivery across India.

Measure first: the lift, then the route

Lift sizes vary from tower to tower, so we do not quote a standard size. Measure your own lift and route with a tape, and note each size in inches or centimetres:

Lift door width and height: the clear opening when the doors are fully open.
Lift cabin depth, width and height: measure inside the cabin, wall to wall.
Cabin diagonal: from a bottom front corner to the top back corner. Long items are often tilted in on this line.
Corridor turns: the width of the corridor where you turn from the lift towards your flat.
Flat door and inner doors: the narrowest door on the way to the room where the sofa will sit.

Then WhatsApp the sizes and a photo of the lift and door to +91-7838834141. We will compare them with the sofa you like before you order.

Custom size is the reliable fix

If the standard sofa is too long or too deep for your lift, a custom size avoids the problem at the source. Every sofa we make, including 3 seater, L shaped and Chesterfield designs, can be made in your size. Our custom sofa lead time guide explains each stage, and our L shaped sofa size guide helps you choose side lengths for an apartment living room.

Shorter length: a slightly shorter sofa can be easier to fit in a smaller cabin.
Shallower depth: a lower seat depth can make the sofa easier to manage in narrow corridors.
L shape planning: discuss the size of each section with us before you order, so we can check your route together.

Society rules to check before delivery day

Booking: some societies ask residents to book the service lift for furniture.
Timings: check permitted delivery hours with the society office or facility manager.
Entry: ask whether the guard needs a gate pass or an entry note with the delivery details.
Protection: ask whether the lift needs padding before large items go in.
