Finding a furniture market open on Monday in Delhi is harder than it sounds. Monday is the weekly off for many of the city's best-known furniture markets, so a family that plans its one free day around a furniture trip can arrive to find shutters down. This guide explains which markets are reported to close on Monday, how to plan a Sunday visit when everyone else is out shopping too, and why our Shastri Park showroom keeps the same hours every day of the week. Which Delhi furniture markets close on Monday

Published guides report a Monday off for two of Delhi's biggest furniture markets. Off days are set shop by shop, so treat these as a starting point and call before you go.

Kirti Nagar (West Delhi): guides such as TripHippies say most shops close on Monday, while a few keep a different off day or open daily.
Panchkuian Road (Central Delhi): its Wanderlog listing shows it open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Monday.
Golden Paradise Furniture, Shastri Park: open 10 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Sunday.

Our hours: 10 AM to 8 PM, all 7 days

Planning a Sunday furniture trip

Go early: the late morning is quieter than the evening on most Sundays.
Bring measurements: room length and width, door width, and the space left for walking.
Bring photos: a photo of your room helps us suggest a size and colour.
Shortlist online first: our 3 seater sofa, L shaped sofa and solid wood bed pages show live prices, so you arrive knowing your budget.
Ask about custom sizes: every sofa model we make can be custom-sized, and a custom sofa usually takes about 7 working days to make. See our guide to customised furniture in Delhi.

Why a weekday visit can be even better

If you can take a weekday off, a Monday or Tuesday visit to our showroom is usually the calmest. You get more time to sit on sofas, compare fabrics and discuss a custom size. Our furniture comes with a 12-month warranty, and we deliver across India. All products are 30% off with free delivery across India.
