Access: main door, lift and stairs in the new building.
Compare: note the size of each piece you own next to the space it will go.

Step 2: move, sell or buy new

Move it if it fits the new room, is in good condition and you still like it.
Sell or give it away if it will not fit, will not go through the door or lift, or you would replace it soon anyway.
Buy new if the new home needs a different size, such as a smaller dining set or a sofa cum bed for a guest room.
